This past Sunday was our third annual In and Out Sunday. The concept began three years ago after reading the book - The Church of Irresistable Influence by Robert Lewis. My heart skipped beat after beat when I thought about what it would do for a church if it would cancel all Sunday services and in force hit the streets of the town or city where they live and do "good works." I knew that our Father in heaven would be glorified because that is what Jesus had promised.
Well again -- NewSOng led the way and took the risk of leaving tradition behind and doing the unique thing of serving on the "sabbath." We painted; cleaned; fixed; held hands; talked to the senile and washed cars for free!! What a day! We all gathered back at the church for lunch and to hear testimonies.
