I have been away for a few days and so i have not been able to respond to the incredible upsat on Sunday night, when my Giants knocked the overwhelming favorite Pati-NOTS off the presumed petistle of footbal greatness. What an unbelieveable game and what a fantatsic out come as the G-men defense shut down the juggernaut of NE offense 17-14. When Plaxico made a prediction earlier in the week that the Giants would win and keep NE from scoring big -- every one thought he was crazy. But now he can say those painful words - I told you so!"

Even me...a little known blogger who laid out what some skeptically said was an impossiblity -- should again read my blog from last week on how the Giants will beat NE. Obviously, it was probably the only way that it could have happened. But the fact is NE did not "lose" the game -- they got beat! So with great pleasure I say "I told you so."

Finally, to all the TV sportcasters a word of wisdom. The pre-game hype focused on one thing - the Patriots being a team of destiny...the first 19-0 team in NFL history....the greatest team of all time! Little time was spent looking at the Giants chance of winning.  Even after the game, they had so little to talk with the winners because they could not conceive them winning. They were stunned and left to wonder what happened. Not one of the analysis picked the Giants -- not even with considering "if the giants do this" scenarios playing out. Shame on you. You were embarassing -- and it showed your bias. The league was in the same boat. To protect their PR pay day of having a 19-0 team -- they turned their head and avoid looking at the spying issue.  Now two days after their golden boys lost -- Goodell wants to investigate.  That is total disingenuious and shows me that everybody and their brother wanted the Pats and didn't give the G-men a snowball chance in Phoenix.....well it snowed on Sunday.  They told you so!
